Das YEP-211 ist besonders geeignet für Marsch-Kapellen und für andere Gelegenheiten, bei denen eine vorwärtsgerichtete Projektion erwünscht ist, da das Schallstück nach vorne zeigt. Es ist leicht zu spielen und zu halten, hat aber dennoch einen großen, vollen Klang, leichte Ansprache und exakte Intonation.
