Noise damping system for the V-Drums
The Roland V-Drums are the only professional alternative for practicing drummers who live in multi-family homes, as acoustic drums are often too loud in many cases. With the Noise Eater series you can further optimize this situation and make even less noise. Roland's innovative Noise Eater series is a useful tool for reducing the impact sound and vibration that occur when pedaling a foot pedal. This allows you to reduce even more the noise of Roland V-Drums, which used to be quiet with Mesh Head Pads, and to protect the lower-floor rooms from footsteps and vibrations transmitted over the floor.
Roland has carried out extensive tests and determined that with the additional use of the Noise Eater series, the volume of directly transmitted impact sound and vibration is reduced by approximately 75 percent. This feature makes it possible to play the v-drums at home even at unusual times (for example at night) without disturbing people in neighboring rooms or other apartments.
NE-1
The NE-1 Noise Eater is a sturdy plate that has several rubber feet with cavities. The NE-1 can be used with kick pads, kick pedals and hi-hat control pedals from the V-Drums series. The NE-1 is designed to not interfere with pedaling, giving the drummer's natural feel.
The most important features
Very efficient tool for noise reduction when playing kick pads / pedals, hi-has control pedals and hi-hat stands.
Reduced volume for impact sound and vibration by up to 75 percent (based on extensive testing by Roland).
Playing the V-Drums without disturbing the family and neighbors.
Ideal for drummers who live in apartments or apartment blocks as well as for use in music classrooms and recording studios.
The NE-10 can be used with: KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, KD-9 Kick Pad, KD-7 Kick Trigger and FD-8 Hi-Hat Control Pedal.
When using the NE-10 for a Roland KD-140 / KD-120 V-Kick or Hi-hat Stand with a Roland VH-13 / VH-11 V-Hi-Hat, insert one under each foot of the tripod NE -1. This achieves maximum damping of the impact noise and vibrations.
