Das Acoustalon ist eine Kunstholz-Marimba mit einem schönen, beinahe unglaublichen Klang – einem Klang wie Natur-Palisander. Das Geheimnis sind seine revolutionären Klangplatten aus FRP (faserverstärkter Kunststoff). Anders als Holzklangplatten werden FRP-Klangplatten fast überhaupt nicht von Temperatur- oder Feuchtigkeitsänderungen beeinflusst und sind viel weniger schadensanfällig. Diese Marimba ist ideal für den Einsatz in Schulen, wo die Instrumente intensiv genutzt werden.
