Pearl's P-800CX single-chain drive bass drum pedal may be light in weight, but it's heavy with features. It starts with an Eliminator-style footboard for a fast, powerful bass drumming foundation. Adjustable features include beater and pedalboard angle, and active spring tension with Click-Lock security for just the right feel. The performance center of the P-800CX is the round linear action of its sprocketless single-chain drive cam, for the power from the very first strike of the foot. Light weight and made for quick transport, its radius rod frame folds up instantly and reconnects for strong, secure performance. Its DuoBeat two-surface beater also helps you channel just the right tone of your kick drum. Just a quick flip of the head changes attack from the nuanced thump of a traditional felt beater to the focused attack of a solid plastic hammer.
