With the Crystal Beat series newly introduced in 1973, the Pearl company set new standards for drum sets, both in terms of sound and in optics.
Compared to the competition, the seamlessly cast acrylic shells were clearly robust and very suitable for everyday touring. In addition, the shells delivered bold, attacking sound that prevailed against amplifier walls of any size.
Now this pearl can be found again in 2015 and delivers the usual old quality with new features. These include the equipment with Optimounts and newly designed little pieces.
